Meet Dr. Liliana Cuervo

  • Born in Colombia, South America where she earned her dental degree from Colombia College of Dentistry.
  • Moved to the United States and received her advanced degree in Pediatric Dentistry from Howard University in 1993.
  • Became a full time teacher and practitioner for three years at the pediatric post-graduate dental program at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC.
  • Has been in private practice for 30 years.
  • Participates as an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, District of Columbia Dental Society, Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists, Maryland State Dental Association, Colombian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.
  • Recognized as one of the Top Pediatric Dentist in the 2006, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026  issues of the Washingtonian Magazine and a top pediatric dentist in the Bethesda Magazine in 2020, 2022 , 2024 and 2026.
  • Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and in the state of Maryland.
  • Enjoys oil painting, Pilates, traveling and spending time with her husband, John, and her two sons, Brandon and Ryan.
